One day I told someone I was "keeping it real" and I was corrected that it is "Keeping it Gangsta". I don't know what to believe!!! What advice can you give to a yound wanna be like me?
Well sir, Keeping It Gangsta is a more specifice term. It is referenced in the gangster/thug lifestyle. As if you were Acting "hardcore" or "thuggish,ruggish bone".
Keeping It Real is a more general term, and can apply to anyone with ANY background. Even if one is not an O.G. (Original Gangsta), or promotes that lifestyle.
